PWInsider.com is reporting that the next 2016 WWE Hall of Fame announcement will reportedly be The Fabulous Freebirds. Additionally, it is also being reported that the group will be inducted by fellow WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Von Erich. The latest details are that Michael "P.S." Hayes and Jimmy Garvin will accept the induction, while Buddy Roberts and Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy will be posthumously inducted.
WWE.com recently posted an announcement and a graphic regarding the March 12th "March to WrestleMania" special that will air live on the WWE Network. The article mentioned that Triple H will be defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the event; however, it made no mention of an opponent. The announcement was later pulled from the website. Here it is in full:
"The Road to WrestleMania is heating up, but on March 12, an event will take place on WWE Network that could completely alter the landscape of The Show of Shows. "WWE March to WrestleMania," LIVE at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
Just three weeks shy of WrestleMania, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H will defend his illustrious prize for the first time since capturing it at the Royal Rumble. As previously reported, Hulk Hogan is seeking a total of $100 million in damages against Gawker.com after the website released a sex tape involving Hogan and Heather Clem, the former wife of radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge. In an update, WTSP-TV is reporting that both parties in the case have recently gone over "logistics and jury selection," and that the trial will officially get underway on March 1st.
