ROH Star Michael Elgin Signs With NJPW

ROH Star Michael Elgin has signed a two-year deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling, according to ProWrestlingSheets.com.

Negotiations reportedly took place earlier this month and both sides were able to come to a mutual agreement. Elgin has been Japan this weekend for the ROH vs. New Japan series where he signed his new deal, which "allows Elgin to continue taking bookings wherever he’d like outside of Japan."

Elgin is expected to be a top name going forward for New Japan after having a notable run in 2015 as part of the G1 Climax tournament.
