Batista Declines WWE WrestleMania 32 Appearance

PWInsider.com is reporting that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Batista was backstage at Tuesday night's SmackDown television tapings in Tampa, Florida, where he again met with Vince McMahon regarding a possible appearance at the upcoming WrestleMania 32 event in Dallas, Texas.

Batista was reportedly asked about appearing at the event as a special guest referee in the main event, where Triple H will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, Batista is said to have appreciated the offer, but declined it "just for the sake of making an appearance." Reports are that Batista stated that when and if he does decide to make a return to WWE, he would prefer it to be in the form of a final run with some kind of meaning behind it.
