Canadian Wrestling Legend Mongolian Stomper Passes Away

Mongolian Stomper (Archie Gouldie), who was once named by Bret Hart as the greatest Canadian wrestler of all time has sadly passed away this morning at the age of 71.

Gouldie held the North American heavyweight title a record 14 times between 1968 and 1984, which was something of a streak at the time.

He served as a deputy sheriff in Knox County, Tennessee, working as a correctional officer once his wrestling career come to an end.
