WWE Reportedly Trying To Convince Hall Of Famer To Compete In 2016 Royal Rumble Match?

During his recent Wooooo! Nation podcast, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair mentioned to guest Chris Jericho that WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is reportedly trying to convince "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels to come out of retirement to participate in the 2016 Royal Rumble Match. Flair was quoted as stating the following:

"They want him so bad for Royal Rumble, but he ain't budging from that ranch down there in Texas."

Michaels officially retired from the ring back in 2010 and has repeatedly stated that he plans on staying retired. There is no word regarding how much money Michaels was reportedly offered to take part in the event; however, it is said to be unlikely that this will be happening.
