Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed on his Instagram Tuesday that his production company he owns with his ex-wife Dany Garcia, Seven Bucks Productions, has partnered with Imperative Entertainment to produce a new show titled, "Boost Unit" for FOX which has been inspired by the Fast & Furious franchise.
The show is described as a “a high-octane, action-packed hour that follows the newest recruit of the LAPD’s Auto Theft Task Force, a notorious getaway driver with a hidden past,” according to the official press release.
“We’re bringing to life the high stakes street pursuits and grueling work of this very specialized elite task force and we’re excited to partner with Imperative Entertainment to combine an epic mix of gripping action and sophisticated storytelling,” Johnson said in the release.
