Before Monday night's edition of WWE Raw went on the air, it was announced by WWE.com that Stephanie McMahon was one of the nominees for the first-ever "Hero in All of Us" Slammy Award alongside Natalya, Titus O'Neil, Roman Reigns, Big Show, and John Cena. This award was presented in recognition "of WWE Superstars and Divas who go above and beyond outside the ring."
When the time came for the award to be presented on Raw, Stephanie was noticeably removed from the list of nominees. The only update regarding this is that while the actual reason for her removal remains unknown at this time, the decision to do so was made "at the last minute."
Cena would go on to win the award thanks to his work with organizations such as Susan G. Komen and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as the United States armed forces.
