20 Years Ago Today, Madusa Trashed The WWF Women’s Championship

It was 20 years ago today, one of the earliest and arguably most controversial shots of the Monday Night Wars was fired.

On December 18, 1995, WCW Monday Nitro opened as usual but this time, WWF's Alundra Blayze interrupted commentary with the WWF Women’s Championship in hand which she threw it in the trash! She would go on to be known as Madusa during her WCW career.

Time was a great healer for Madusa, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015.
