Backstage News On How Ring Of Honor Signed The Young Bucks

The Young Bucks, who recently signed with Ring of Honor reportedly held preliminary discussions with every major wrestling company, according to ProWrestlingSheet.com.

Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson discussed working for Lucha Underground, NXT and even TNA. There was reportedly never a bidding war between promotions, but ROH were always the most serious about the signing the brothers.

WWE reportedly never had any serious talks to bring the popular tag-team in, but there were key players who were pushing officials to bring them into NXT however those calls never materialized.

NJPW reportedly helped made the push for ROH to sign them as they felt they have been working an insane schedule and by working with ROH they could offer them a lighter schedule by matching what the Young Bucks were making on all their U.S. indie dates combined.
