Alberto El Patron (Del Rio) might be on his way back to WWE as his relationship with Lucha Underground broke down over creative issues and money, meaning he won't be back for season 2.

Alberto has also told people in the business that he’s taking a break for the ring while he spends the Holidays at home with his family before making a decision on where he is to go next, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

He is reportedly interested in returning to WWE for another run which the company is open to, although they would first need to resolve the issues the lead to his release.

WWE will be aware that a Mexican name like Del Rio will help sell tickets for WrestleMania, since Mexican stars have always been popular in Texas.
