Former WWE Tag Team Champion and United States Champion Cesaro has reportedly once again been dropped as a priority by WWE officials. It was noted by F4WOnline.com/The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Cesaro is once again "in the WWE doghouse."
Since his debut on WWE's main roster back in 2012, Cesaro has received numerous strong pushes on television, only to have those pushes killed for whatever reason. He enjoyed a lengthy run as the U.S. Champion from August of 2012 until April of 2013. He then joined the Real Americans stable with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter for about a year until the WrestleMania season of 2014. He won the first-ever Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 30 and then became the newest "Paul Heyman Guy" until his on-screen relationship with Heyman ended abruptly after just a few short months.
Cesaro got lost in the shuffle in the second half of 2014 until he started teaming with Tyson Kidd in December. They found success as a team and eventually captured the WWE Tag Team Championship at the Fastlane pay-per-view in February of this year and held the Titles until the Extreme Rules PPV in April.
Tyson Kidd was sidelined with a serious neck/spinal injury after a match against Samoa Joe back in June and it appeared as though Cesaro was starting to receive a renewed singles push over the past few months. But as was previously mentioned, Cesaro's push has reportedly been stopped once again.
