WWE is planning a Royal Rumble documentary for 2016 which will be similar to the “True Story of WrestleMania” DVD and documentary which was released back in 2011, According to WrestlingDVDNetwork.com.

The documentary will focus on every Royal Rumble PPV since the event’s inception in 1988, and will be called “The True Story of Royal Rumble.” The release will be a three disc DVD and 2 disc Blu-ray set, and will likely be released sometime in 2016 during the road to WrestleMania 32.
