The New Day Pays Tribute To Slain Virginia News Reporter And Cameraman

All three members of The New Day - Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E - have taken to their respective Twitter pages to pay tribute to Alison Parker and Adam Ward, a news reporter and cameraman for the Virginia-based WDBJ television station who were tragically shot and killed while taking part in a live on-air news report on Wednesday morning.

Kofi Kingston: "Easily our most memorable media day. She brought about such good vibes. Thoughts are w/ the Parker & Ward families."

Xavier Woods: "It's so sad to hear about what happened to Alison Parker. Such a kind heart and mind. Condolences to her loved ones."

Big E: "Shaken by the news of the tragic passing of Alison Parker. We all loved her energy and warmth."

Each tweet was accompanied by a photo of The New Day with Parker, who had met the trio back in November.
