Minnesota Vikings Issue statement On Claim WrestleMania In Minneapolis

The Minnesota Vikings issued a statement regarding the claims made by Lester Bagley that WrestleMania is coming to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

"Lester meant to say we are hopeful the new stadium will host a future College Football Playoff Championship and WrestleMania," reads the statement. "Unfortunately the mistake was not caught during the editing process. To be clear, Minnesota has not been awarded a future WrestleMania. Minneapolis has submitted a bid and hopes to hear something from WWE by the end of the year. Obviously all U.S. Bank Stadium partners would love to bring the excitement and economic impact of WrestleMania to this market."
