TNA Reportedly Want To Sign Former WWE Star Rey Mysterio

TNA Wrestling have interest in signing former WWE star Rey Mysterio Jr according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

TNA Executive John Gaburick and Dixie Carter reportedly spoke with Mysterio recently and have been pushing the idea that he can gain more visibility for his merchandise if he signs with them and the chance to get his products marketed by retailers.

If Mysterio decides to sign with TNA he would almost certainly be built up as the brands major Hispanic superstar.

TNA would also allow him to wrestle elsewhere when he is not required for TNA television tapings. Dave Metlzer notes that Mysterio is leaning more toward Lucha Underground although nothing official has been signed.
