Dusty Rhodes To Be Laid To Rest Today

WWE Hall of Famer "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes will be officially laid to rest today in the state of Florida. 

Family and friends will gather at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Tampa at 4:30 PM today for a private funeral for Rhodes, which is closed to both media outlets and the general public.

Fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross had the following to say regarding Rhodes being laid to rest in Tampa instead of Orlando, where Rhodes had resided while working with WWE:

"He had Texas roots and pride and was just as proud to say he was from Tampa."

Rhodes died on June 11th at the age of 69. No official cause of death has been specified as of yet.
