During a recent interview with Title Match Wrestling, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat confirmed that the in-ring career of his son, Richie Steamboat, is over.
Richie's retirement comes on the heels of being forced to undergo back surgery a few years ago and not being back in the ring ever since. Steamboat noted that his son injured four discs in his back and underwent surgery for that. As a result, Richie will not be able to wrestle anymore.
Steamboat added, however, that his son has the look for the business and that in terms of the business itself, he also "gets it."
