As previously reported, WWE Hall of Famer Bobby "The Brain" Heenan underwent surgery today for a reason that, at the time, was undisclosed.
In an update, T-Mart Promotions noted on their official Facebook page that the reason for the surgery was due to Heenan falling and breaking his hip on Monday night. Heenan is reported to currently be in a recovery room at the hospital.
As a result of the accident, Heenan was forced to pull out of his scheduled appearances at both the Wrestling Universe Store and the Legends of the Ring convention, which are scheduled to take place on September 21st. In addition, Heenan will not be able to make appearances for several months due to his recovery.
