Report on Why Exactly A.J. Lee Retired From WWE

In an update on A.J. Lee's sudden retirement from WWE, a new report has come out from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that suggests that the former Divas Champion may have retired from WWE because of the lawsuit that her husband C.M. Punk is involved in against WWE's doctor Chris Amann.

By officially "retiring" from WWE, A.J. was reportedly able to get out of the rest of her contract with the company.

No word yet on if A.J. has any interest in returning to wrestling at some point in the future.
