During a press conference on Thursday in Abu Dhabi Dolph Ziggler discussed WrestleMania 31 and if he will wrestle the event which has been a hot topic among his fans of late.
We reported recently that Daniel Bryan went to WWE officials to request working a match against Ziggler but this has since changed with a new report suggesting Vince McMahon wants Bryan vs. Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar to headline WrestleMania although this could change depending on the outcome of the main event at the upcoming Fastlane pay-per-view.
Below is what Ziggler had to say:
“We have to see how “Fastlane” goes. There are so many things up in the air right now. I threw out an idea to face Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania because I thought he could have had a better showing at the Royal Rumble, as I thought I should have.
We didn’t do our best, I’m rooting for him to get that main event at WrestleMania and also for Roman [Reigns] and see how it plays out. If there is an opening for someone I will be the first to challenge someone.”
