ROH Reportedly Looking To Run Live PPV Up Against Impact Wrestling

Posted By: Jason Patrick on Feb 12, 2015

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that right now ROH's return to New York City will be 19/6 and 20/6 at Terminal 5 in New York City and that they're planning to host a live pay-per-view on the Friday night instead of the Sunday and go head-to-head with what will be a taped edition of TNA Impact Wrestling on Destination America. If this is correct it would be the first time ever that ROH and TNA go head-to-head with programming in the same timeslots as ROH would be looking to turn viewers away from Impact Wrestling and purchase their 'Best in the World' pay-per-view instead.

The following day would then be a TV taping, again from Terminal 5. There is still a lot of criticism out against ROH wanting to hold their events in Terminal 5 but apparently they have an idea of how to correct the issues from Final Battle, which will probably be reducing the amount of tickets available and moving seating positions on the floor.
