WWE NXT Takeover Rival Results (02/11/15)

A video package airs hyping all the matches on tonight’s show.

We are coming to you live from Full Sail University, we are joined by Rich Brennan, Corey Graves, and Jason Albert. Hideo Itami is kicking of the show as he comes to the ring. We see a video of what took place between Tyler Breeze and Hideo Itami last week. Tyler Breeze makes his way to the ring a woman jumps the ring barrier as he comes out.

Hideo Itami vs. Tyler Breeze

Breeze quickly gets the upper hand but Itami turns it around with a knee and a clothesline as Breeze rolls to the outside. Itami hits a drop kick then some chops but Breeze avoids a move in the corner. Itami hits some devastating kicks thru the ring ropes. Breeze works on the leg of Itami in the ring. Breeze knocks Itami down in the corner. He continues to work Itamis knee over on the ring post. He applies a figure four using the ring post. Breeze puts on a submission move and Itami fights to get to the ropes to break the hold. Breeze keeps working Itami over but Itami jumps up and goes for the GTS but Breeze fights out and gets a two count. Breeze then hits the Supermodel kick and gets another two count. Both men fight each other from their knees as they get back to their feet. Hideo hits a kick to the mid section and more in the corner. Hideo hits a drop kick in the corner then another kick and gets the three count for the win.

Winner: Hideo Itami

They recap the match highlights. In the back we see William regal talking to Kevin Owens.

Bull Dempsey comes out as we recap the history between him and Baron Corbin. Corbins music hits as he comes to the ring.

Bull Dempsey vs. Baron Corbin No Disqualification match

Corbin rushes in and knocks Dempsey to the outside then throws him back into the ring. They go back outside and Dempsey suplexes Corbin onto the steel ramp. Corbin is then thrown into the ring post. Dempsey kicks Corbin and keeps him down on the floor. Back in the ring Corbin hits a power slam and gets a two count. Corbin is knocked to the outside. Dempsey hits a diving head butt and Corbin kicks out at two. Dempsey assaults Corbin outside the ring then throws him back in and gets a chair. He goes to him Corbin with the chair but Corbin hits “End of Days”

Winner: Baron Corbin

After the match Corbin sits in a chair staring down at Dempsey. We see Regal talking to Sami Zayn in the back. A WWE Network commercial airs.

Back from the break we see Becky Lynch and Bayley both getting ready for their match.

The music for the Lucha Dragons hits as they make their way to the ring. Blake and Murphy are out next as we recap how they won the belts.

Lucha Dragons vs. Blake & Murphy NXT Tag Team Championship

Sin Cara and Murphy start in the ring. Blake tags in quickly but Sin Cara gets the upper hand. Blake counters a move and gets the upper hand with some kicks. Sin Cara reverses and puts Blake in a submission hold. Sin Cara hits a head scissors take down and tags Kalisto. He flies to the outside and takes out Murphy. Sin Cara hits a victory roll on Blake and gets a two count. Blake tags Murphy and Sin Cara tags Kalisto. Sin Cara and Kalisto double team Murphy and get a two count. Murphy fights back and gets the tag to Blake. They hit a double team move and get a two count. Blake and Murphy continue to work over Sin Cara. Kalisto tags in and hits a cork screw cross body then hits a spike but doesn’t go for the cover. Kalisto and Murphy go back and forth and both teammates make the save. Sin Cara and Blake are both tagged in they keep countering each other’s moves, and another pin fall attempt by Blake. Sin Cara is tagged in and hits a power bomb on Blake. Murphy is tagged back in and he hits a running suplex and Blake hits a frog splash for the win.

Winners: Blake & Murphy

A Solomon Crowe vignette airs after the match.

Balor and Adrian Neville, and their history over the years.

Adrian Neville makes his way to the ring first. The lights go out and here comes Finn Balor.

Finn Balor vs. Adrian Neville #1 Contenders Match

We start with a head lock takedown by Neville. Balor gets back to his feet and Neville hits a shoulder tackle and takes Balor into another headlock. Both men fight to their feet and Balor kicks Neville down then Neville knocks Balor down. After a drop kick Neville rolls to the outside. Back in the ring Balor hits another drop kick. Balor goes to fly outside but Neville catches him and hits a springboard drop kick. Neville again wears Balor down with a headlock on the mat. Neville goes for a cover and gets a two count. Neville kicks Balor repeatedly in the corner. Neville puts Balor in a reverse chin lock to keep wearing Balor down. Balor avoids a kick and hits a chop to Neville. Neville hits a drop kick taking Balor down to the ring apron. Neville suplexes Balor back into the ring from the ring apron and gets a two count. Neville again wears down Balor in the center of the ring. Balor fights back but gets a kick to the face, but Balor hits an enziguri kick and knocks Neville to the outside. Balor takes flight and takes out Neville on the outside. On the outside Balor stalks Neville and drop kicks him thru the barricade as the crowd chants “Holly Shit”. Balor throws Neville back in the ring and goes to the top rope and hits a double stomp to the head and gets a two count. Neville fights back but Balor hits the Pele kick the Neville hits a kick of his own as both men lay on the mat. Neville hits a German suplex then another and Neville gets a two count. Neville goes to the top rope and hits a cork screw splash and Balor somehow kicks out again. Neville hits a running elbow on Balor in the corner. Balor hits a slingblade from out of nowhere. Balor hits a massive lariat then reverse DDT and Neville kicks out at two. Balor goes to the top rope but Neville catches him with an enziguri kick. Neville hits a kick to the back of the head of Balor. Neville goes for the Red Arrow but Balor got his knees up and goes for a pin but Neville kicks out. Balor drives Neville into the turnbuckle head first then hits the double stomp from the top rope and gets a three count for the win.

Winner: Finn Balor

After the match they shake hands and Neville exits the ring and lets Balor celebrate as we see the highlights of the match.

In the back we see Sasha Banks and Charlotte getting ready. A video airs recapping the history between all four women.

Out first is Bayley to a decent crowd reaction. Sasha Banks is out next followed by Becky Lynch. The Woman’s Champion Charlotte is out last.

Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks NXT Woman’s Championship

We start with all three woman attacking Charlotte. Bayley tries to roll up Charlotte from behind and gets a two count. Sasha and Becky work together to take out Charlotte then attack Bayley in the ring. Bayley fights back but misses a move off the top rope. Becky and Sasha both go for the pin and start to get in each other’s faces. Becky hits a pump handle suplex and Sasha and then goes to work on Bayley. She hits a leg drop and gets a two count on Bayley. Becky hits a dragon screw leg whip and puts on a submission move but Sasha breaks it up. Sasha goes to work on Becky in the corner. Becky goes to the top rope and hits a big drop kick and goes for a cover and Charlotte breaks it up. Charlotte hits a neck breaker on Sasha and Becky breaks it up. Charlotte hits a neck breaker on Becky and goes for the pin and Sasha breaks it up. Charlotte hits a spear on Becky then Charlotte and Bayley double team Sasha but Charlotte kicks Bayley to the outside. Sasha rams Charlotte into the ring post. Sasha hits the double knee on both Becky and Charlotte but can only get a two count on both women. Bayley hits a suplex on Sasha. Bayley then hits a series of running elbows on Charlotte. Bayley places Charlotte on the top turnbuckle and hits a hurricanrana. Bayley hits a belly-to-belly suplex but Becky breaks up the pin attempt. Bayley destroys Becky on the outside but Sasha flies out of nowhere and takes out Bayley and Becky on the outside. Charlotte then dives to the outside and takes out the other three women. Charlotte throws Becky into the ring but Becky hits a suplex and gets a two count. Becky hits some forearm shots to Charlotte then places her onto the top turnbuckle. Bayley hits a German suplex on Becky and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Charlotte but Sasha breaks up the pin attempt. Sasha goes for a pin attempt but Charlotte kicks out. Sasha puts Charlotte into a cross face submission, Sasha then rolls her into a pin and Sasha Banks gets the three count.

Winner: New NXT Woman’s Champion Sasha Banks

We recap the highlights of the incredible match we just saw. In the ring Charlotte goes to shake Sasha Banks hand but they hug it out then shove each other as Banks leaves the ring. A commercial airs for WrestleMania.

A video package airs recapping the long and lengthy history between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens (this is the same video that aired on the pre-show).

We see Owens in the back as his music hits and he walks out to the ring. Sami Zayn is out next as its time for the NXT Championship match

An important note the announcers were completely quiet as both men came to the ring.

Kevin Owen vs. Sami Zayn NXT Championship

The bell rings and both men just stare at each other at first and then Owens goes to the outside. Owens takes his time and finally gets back into the ring. Zayn moves in an Owens rolls back to the outside. Zayn takes flight and jumps over the referee and takes out Owens and throws him into the ring. Zayn hits some kicks and punches in the corner. Owens drops Zayn head first onto the turnbuckle then hits a huge clothesline on Zayn. Owens hits another running clothesline on Zayn as he lays flat on the mat. Owens throws Zayn hard into the turnbuckle as the crowd does dueling Owens and Zayn chants. Owens hits a hard knife edge chop and gets a two count. Owens stays in control with some hard forearms. Owens slams Zayn to the mat and gets a two count. Owens applies a reverse chin lock and wears Zayn down. Zayn fights back but Owens hits a huge clothesline and Zayn goes back to the mat as Owens gets another two count. Zayn fights back but Owens drives his midsection of the top rope and gets a two count. Owens again wears Zayn down in the center of the ring with a chin lock. Zayn fights back only to again take a suplex from Owens and he gets a two count. Owens throws Zayn to the outside. Owens gives Zayn a knife edge chop then another. Owens rolls in and breaks the count then rolls back outside. Owens continues to destroy Zayn outside the ring. Owens throws Zayn back in the ring and gets another two count. Owens beats Zayn down onto the mat then hits a gut buster and a standing senton bomb and gets another two count. Owens stays in control of Zayn in the center of the ring. Zayn fights back and hits a huge clothesline then knocks Owens to the outside. Zayn goes to the outside and attacks Owens. He throws Owens head first into the steel steps. Owens fights back but Zayn hits another huge clothesline outside as he throws Owens back in the ring. Zayn hits the Blue Thunder Bomb but can only get a two count. Zayn rushes into the corner but Owens hits a massive Super kick then the cannonball in the corner but again Zayn kicks out at two. Owens hits a massive neck breaker and Zayn kicks out at two somehow. Zayn hits a drop kick then a half and half suplex and he gets a two count. Zayn rams Owens head into the ring post but is able to hit a move knocking Zayns head of the top rope. Owens goes to the top turnbuckle but Zayn catches him as they fight on the ropes and Zayn is pushed of. Owens goes for a senton bomb from the top but Zayn got his knees up. Zayn suplexes Owens into the corner but Owens avoids the helluva kick. Zayn then hits a springboard dive to the outside taking out Owens. Zayn throws Owens back in the ring as both men are dazed. Owens hits a huge power bomb but Zayn again kicks out. Both men fight back to their feet. Owens attacks and gets the upper hand again. Owens continues the assault as Zayn can’t get back to his feet. Owens hits another power bomb then another and again Zayn gets out at two when Owens barley tries to pin him. Owens again power bombs Zayn twice as the medical staff was trying to check on Zayn. The referee declares Owens the winner when Zayn cannot continue.

Winner: New NXT Champion Kevin Owens

After the match they recap the highlights of what we just saw. Owens celebrates in the ring as he appears to be overcome with emotion. He stands over Zayn and raises the belt in the air as the show ends.
