Darren Young Questions Why WWE Runs Live Events In Abu Dhabi

Darren Young, who is the only openly gay active WWE wrestler tweeted the following about WWE running live events in Abu Dhabi this week:

"Why do we bring the best entertainment into a country like abu dhabi and they look down upon women and gays? I get it! #MillionsofDollars"

For those wondering why he is questioning the decision, it is because in Abu Dhabi homosexuality is a crime and women are not treated as equals.

UPDATE: The tweet was pulled by Young (likely at the request of WWE) he followed up with:

"My freedom of speech is gone. Gone but not forgotten."

"I feel like no none has my back and it upsets me. The struggle is real. I'm human."
