Drew McDonald best known for his time on independent circuit in the United Kingdom since the 1980s has passed away aged 60 following a battle with cancer. McDoland become a household name when he left his native Scotland for England wrestling on ITV's World of Sport.
One of this career highlights was a match screened as part of ITV's 1984 FA Cup Final coverage which saw McDonald team with Big Daddy to defeat Giant Haystacks and Finlay. Despite his partnership with Big Daddy they would both go on to become frequent opponent.
Several of WWE's British talent have paid tribute to McDonald on Twitter today:
