Ring of Honor are expected to announce a return date to New York City in the coming weeks and the word going around is that it will be from Terminal 5, the venue for December's Final Battle. Terminal 5 came under heavy criticism after many fans complained about not being able to see the show from their seats in the balconies, being placed so far back they weren't able to get a view downward. ROH issued refunds to those who requested it.
Previously ROH's New York home was the Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom, but following last summers War of the Worlds show it emerged that ROH would no longer run the venue in protest to Manhattan Center officials raising to rent to where one night in the Hammerstein, the largest area in the building, now costs approximately $125,000.
The show to be announced could potentially be a PPV, and even a New Japan Pro Wrestling crossover show.
