There were a number of wrestling events taking place in Philadelphia over the weekend. WWE's Royal Rumble from the Wells Fargo Center drew 17,164 fans paid for a near sell-out.
Ring of Honor's TV taping in the 2300 Arena - the now refurbished ECW Arena - drew approximately 1,200 for a sell-out as people were being turned away from the door. This was ROH's second event and TV taping of the year and its second sell-out.
CHIKARA's "A New Start" iPPV also from the 2300 Arena drew approximately 600 fans.
Jim Ross' "An Evening With Jim Ross" from Underground Arts before the Royal Rumble drew approximately 300 fans for a sold-out show.
