There were a significant number of subscriptions to the WWE Network following the Royal Rumble, despite the #CancelWWENetwork going around on Twitter. WWE reached 1,000,000 subscriptions sometime on Tuesday and released the press release almost immediately. This in-turn made them never doubt the direction for WrestleMania with Lesnar vs. Reigns because despite the backlash online, their business showed that more people were interested so they were doing something right.
