Potentially Big Update On Alberto "Del Rio" Él Patron & Where His Future Lies

In what could potentially be a big update on where Alberto "Del Rio" Él Patron's American home promotion will be for 2015, Ring of Honor has announced that he has been added to their April 4th TV taping from the Shrine Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas, which is where Alberto lives.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has previously mentioned that the former WWE Champion is attracting interest from several promotions, wrestling and MMA, with him still expected to debut for Lucha Underground which ROH reportedly has no issue with, but they would have an issue with him working for TNA. Alberto is said to be uninterested in working for TNA as he's uneasy because of their reputation and many people have advised him to stay clear for now. Meanwhile, he is said to have loved his debut at ROH's TV taping in Nashville, Tennessee on 1/3, which is why he has taken preference for ROH over other promotions. This date means that Alberto will continue working for ROH after the 13th Anniversary PPV which is a good indication he will be sticking with ROH going forward.
