Backstage Update on Curtis Axel's Role in NXT

Former WWE Tag Team Champion and Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel is expected to stay in the NXT developmental territory for a few months in a similar situation that Tyson Kidd had. They will be using him as a major star in NXT because he has some name value from spending time on the main roster.

He'll most likely be working with the top NXT talents such as Hideo Itami, Finn Balor, etc.

There's no talk of this being a permanent move or any kind of a "demotion" for Axel. He's expected to return to the main roster after a few months like Tyson Kidd did.
