It appears WWE has given Heath Slater some time off while he deals with his legal issues stemming from an alleged assault incident at the hotel following a WrestleMania 27 after-party. 

As we noted on December 3rd, a misdemeanor arrest warrant was issued for Slater. Slater issued a statement saying he was innocent and he was confident that the charges would be dismissed.
