Joey Mercury tweeted the following after reuniting with former Age of the Fall stablemates at this past Monday's Raw. Age of the Fall were a popular stable formed in ROH in 2007, most notably remembered for their debut which saw Jimmy Jacobs, the leader of the group, hang Jay Briscoe by his feet above the ring after the first ever Ladder War between The Briscoes, Kevin Steen and El Generico. Jacobs, who was wearing all white, was showered in Briscoe's blood as he hung above him.
Age of the Fall was also Seth Rollins' first big break in wrestling. Together, Rollins, then Tyler Black, and his real life mentor Jimmy Jacobs held the ROH World Tag Team Championships twice, losing them at Driven 2008 to the team of Steen and Generico, now known as NXT's Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Jimmy Jacobs was backstage at Raw on Monday as he lives in Detroit. He was allowed to appear on the show because he doesn't currently have an ROH contract. Jacobs is currently the leader of The Decade stable.
