VIDEO: Alberto Del Rio To ROH Confirmed; When Does He Start?

As WrestlingNewsSource.com reported yesterday, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that former WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio, now working as Alberto El Patron in various promotions, had agreed to join Ring of Honor in 2015, opting not to join TNA as originally speculated.

Today Ring of Honor has confirmed the signing and announced his first dates. Alberto El Patron will make his ROH debut at the first TV taping of 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee on January 3rd, he will also take part in ROH's double-shot weekend two weeks later in Dearborn, Michigan on January 30th and Dayton, Ohio on January 31st. He will also feature on ROH's next pay-per-view, the 13th Anniversary Show from Las Vegas, Nevada.
