Lucha Underground's Debut Episode Gets 18,000 Viewers, El Rey Network Disappointed

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer said during his audio cast this evening that the exact figure he's getting from sources for the debut episode of Lucha Underground on the El Rey Network is 18,000. Meltzer says that El Rey officials are disappointed with the viewership number but that the highest watched show on the network is gaining roughly 40,000 viewers a week and nobody should expect them to receive the same viewers numbers as WWE, TNA or ROH, which are all more easily accessible. He concluded that they expect better for the second episode as the first was well received.
