The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE Superstar Cesaro is apparently receiving heat backstage by WWE officials.
Dave Meltzer states that the heat may be stemming from a recent interview that Cesaro took part in with a website based in the United Kingdom in which he stated the following:
"It is a new era of guys. It’s a new generation, and it’s a lot of fun to watch that because there are fresh match-ups. I mean, I’m sick of seeing John Cena against Randy Orton for the 500th time. It’s great that we have some new, young guys that can come out and provide absolutely great match-ups and for the fans there are fresh, exciting matches and things to watch."
These comments reportedly "raised a few eyebrows" with WWE officials, leading to Cesaro not being pushed very much on WWE television recently, including having Cesaro losing to Dolph Ziggler in two straight falls at the recent Hell in a Cell event in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the Intercontinental Championship.
