As seen on Monday's WWE Raw Ryback made his return to television as a babyface in a match against Bo Dallas. The decision to make him a babyface was due to the fact the company is low on likeable stars right now, as we all know CM Punk gone, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns are injured, so it seemed the right move to make given that Mark Henry is becoming a "monster" heel WWE want Ryback to be a "monster" babyface.
In addition it has been known for some time now Vince McMahon likes big guys in top roles, especially when business is struggling. WWE officials are hopeful that Ryback can return to being a main event talent much like he was a couple of years ago during his feud with CM Punk. Following that storyline WWE cooled off on Ryback as it was felt that he was very rough and careless in the ring and had hurt some of the talent with an overall feeling that he had a bad attitude during signings and personal appearances.
WWE have reportedly filmed a video in which Ryback apologies to fans for the actions of his past and now he is back he is a better person. That will probably air in the coming weeks.
