Former Germany Goalkeeper Tim Wiese Offered WWE Contract

Former Germany goalkeeper Tim Wiese aged 32 has reportedly received an offer from WWE to train as a wrestler at their performance center.

'I have an official enquiry from the WWE,' said Wiese. 'It's about working as a wrestler. I will listen. I didn't sh-t my pants. Why should I immediately say no? Wrestling is very popular, especially in the United States. I will discuss the offer with my agent next week.' Wiese told German tabloid Sport Bild.

Wiese was released from his last football contract for Hoffenheim in January after poor performance  and injury but the former goalkeeper who won six caps for Germany between 2008 and 2012 has been worked out extensively, now weighing 18 stone (252 pounds) he could be set to become WWE's next big prospect in their ambition to expand further into the German market.
