UPDATED: Warner Bros Are "In Talks" To Acquire WWE's Library

Update (15:44pm GMT): This story has been confirmed by WWE and Mike Johnson of PWInsider as false. So, cross "The Wrap" off as any kind of credible source in the future.

The Wrap, a Hollywood reporting website, has claimed it has exclusive details on Warner Bros & WWE discussing details into possibly acquiring the whole WWE library.

They say they have spoken to 2 individuals who are in the know about the deal who have confirmed it to them. WWE & Warner Bros have both declined to comment. They are quoted as saying that Cinedigm, WWE's current provider for storing their library has no end date on their deal with WWE but that WWE "are transitioning away from the library".

It will be interesting to see where this goes given how an earlier report mentioned how WWE may later investigate the possibly of taking the WWE Network onto a form of Pay-TV platform.
