Rey Mysterio & Alberto Del Rio's AAA TripleMania Appearance Has Led To "Nothing" From WWE So Far

Alarm bells were sounded within the wrestling community when WWE's Rey Mysterio and former WWE star Alberto Del Rio appeared at AAA's TripleMania PPV last week which went up against WWE Summerslam. Many were predicting serious backlash from WWE about the appearances but so far, absolutely nothing has come from WWE in response.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the last time WWE contacted Mysterio was in May. WWE recently had a live event in San Diego to which Rey was not contacted to appear (San Diego being where Mysterio is from). No one from WWE has contact AAA in any form regarding the matter which is very interesting considering the situation with Rey and WWE. 

It will be interesting to see where Del Rio & Mysterio go from here as at this point, they seem to have both wrestled their last match for the WWE given how Mysterio's message to AAA that he will be there soon.
