The Latest Backstage News On The Alberto Del Rio Incident

The latest regarding the WWE employee that Alberto Del Rio slapped is that it was Cody Barbierri who is WWE's manager of social media live events.

Barbierri was supposedly asked to wipe his plate clean following a meal in catering. He allegedly joked that it was Del Rio's job to clean the plate, which of course treads a fine line of racism toward Hispanic people.

Del Rio was told about the comment and confronted him. Barbierri did not apologize for his remark and then smiled at him. Del Rio, unhappy slapped him.
