Wrestlechat.net is reporting that former WWE and WCW star Lex Luger is now confined to a wheelchair, which serves as a sign that Luger's health continues to deteriorate.
The website states that Luger recently attended the final Mid-Atlantic Legends Fanfest in Charlotte, North Carolina this past weekend and was in a wheelchair the entire time, as well as having to sign autographs with a pen that was stuck between his ring and pinky fingers.
Wresltechat.net reports that Luger has been in poor health ever since he suffered a spinal stroke in October of 2007, which left Luger temporary paralyzed. Luger remained in a quadriplegic state for nearly a month after the stroke, meaning he was unable to move his arms and legs. However, in June of 2008, Luger reportedly was able to stand on his own for short periods of time, as well as being able to walk with the assistance of a walker. Luger then stated in an interview in 2010 that he could walk more comfortably and even drive.
Up until recently, Luger was able to walk on his own using the assistance of a cane.
