New WWE Intercontinental Champion Crowned At WWE Battleground

At Sunday's WWE Battleground event, The Miz won the Battleground Battle Royal to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

As previously reported, "Bad News" Barrett was forced to vacate the title after suffering a serious shoulder injury.
