Did WWE Retire The World Heavyweight Title Belt On Raw?

As seen on last night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena gave "Nature Boy" Ric Flair the legendary "Big Gold Belt" that represented the former WWE/WCW World Heavyweight Championship. This has led to some speculation that Cena and future WWE World Heavyweight Champions will only be carrying the WWE Championship Title belt from now on.

As of right now, nobody can really confirm if this officially means that the World Heavyweight Title belt has been retired, but when Flair got backstage, he reportedly did not leave the building with the belt and gave it back to WWE officials.
