Although the original plan was for Sanada to spend a few months with TNA and then return to the Wrestle-1 promotion in Japan, there is now some talk that he might end up sticking with TNA for the long term and actually spend more time in TNA than in Wrestle-1. He would still work for Wrestle-1, as he is being groomed to be a top star for that promotion, but he would work with TNA full-time and work a reduced schedule for Wrestle-1 and only appear for their bigger shows.
The general feeling is that if he stays with TNA, he will have to be made to look fairly strong out of courtesy to Great Muta and the Wrestle-1 promotion.
