Bad News Barrett Undergoes Shoulder Surgery Today

The official WWE website reported today that Bad News Barrett underwent surgery to repair his injured shoulder which he suffered on the June 27th edition of SmacKDown after Jack Swagger threw him into the fan barrier.

“Bad News Barrett underwent a ligament reconstruction in his shoulder, as well as a distal clavicle resection, where the end of the collar bone is shaved off. The operation went very well, he’s resting comfortably.”

Barrett is expected to be out for several months.
