TNA Impact Wrestling officials reportedly paid Matt Hardy handsomely for his appearances at their recent New York tapings. They reportedly paid him double what he usually charges for indy shows, which is $1,500, plus hotel and transportation costs, and usually another $300 for his wife Reby Sky.
Regarding his future with TNA, Hardy has reportedly told people that he doesn't really want to become "exclusive" to any one promotion and would like to continue working for both TNA and Ring of Honor, as well as other indy promotions.
Matt Hardy was recently a guest on Wrestling Observer Radio and said that he is financially set for life after all of his years in WWE, but that working on the indy circuit is a good way to keep making money and stay involved with the business.
