WWE Reportedly Planning A DVD & Blu Ray Documentary On "Macho Man" Randy Savage

Multiple sources report that WWE is reportedly planning on producing a DVD and Blu Ray documentary focusing on the life of the late "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

Word is that Savage's brother, Lanny Poffo, has already filmed interviews with WWE for the possible upcoming release.

It should be noted that in 2009, WWE released The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection on DVD, but the set consisted of only a collection of Savage's matches. The currently-talk-about set will be an actual documentary of the life of the late WWE legend.

Word is that the documentary may be released early next year.

This is leading to overwhelming speculation by multiple sources, as well as countless fans, that the DVD and Blu Ray release may mean that an agreement may have been reached with the Poffo family to induct Savage into the WWE Hall of Fame next year; however, we must stress that this has NOT been officially confirmed as of yet and should only be treated as pure speculation and rumor at this point in time.

WrestlingNewsSource.com will continue to provide more information about this story as it is made available.
