The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the current run of WWE Main Event on ION Television will come to an end on April 2nd, as a marathon of the show Burn Notice is being advertised to air in its place on April 9th.

WWE has yet to officially comment on the status of Main Event on the network, but the general feeling is that this is simply nothing more than a case of the television contract expiring.

Furthermore, there are reports that WWE may keep Main Event on the WWE Network, where the show has been airing live for the past four weeks, with replays being aired on ION Television.
