The Shield attacks Kane! So after this past Raw it looks like The Shield is going to be stay­ing together and are offi­cially ‘Faces’ after Power­bomb­ing Kane. I’m totally cool with that! I love the dynamic between the three and the matches they’ve been hav­ing so I don’t mind them stay­ing a trio for a while longer. Besides I don’t think there’s room for them as sin­gle stars on the ros­ter at the moment. For this Mon­day Night Draw I thought it would be fun to draw The Shield stand­ing over Kane in a dif­fer­ent way than my usual style and tried out a slightly more real­is­tic, anime-ish kind of style. I also tried using a thin­ner line while ink­ing to see what I could come up with. I’m really happy with the results. One of the things I really love about doing the Mon­day Night Draw sketches is that they give me the chance to exper­i­ment and try new things with my art.
