As readers may recall, former WWE, WCW, and TNA Impact Wrestling star Scott Steiner has been involved in a legal battle against TNA since 2012 when Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff were still with the company. TNA filed a lawsuit against Steiner for defamation of character from his Twitter rants against Hogan, Bischoff, and the company itself. TNA also claimed that Steiner was in breach of contract. Steiner counter-sued, claiming that he could not have been in breach of contract because his contract had already expired. That countersuit was dropped, but Steiner also sued TNA for an injury that he suffered during a match against Jeff Hardy. Steiner claims that Hardy was unfit to perform.
In an update on this situation, a judge in Nashville, Tennessee has postponed the lawsuit. The trial was going to start this month, but now a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for November and the trial itself won't start until December.
