2014 would have been a relief to see for TNA after 2013. However, there maybe more concern on the way.
PWInsider.com is reporting that TNA officials are "concerned" in relation to their TV deal currently with Spike TV. WWE are at their own stage of negotiating TV deals and if they do not stay on the USA Network, there's a real chance Spike TV could be the new home for WWE.
Obviously, this wouldn't be good news for TNA. However, officials are stated to believe that the quicker TNA can secure a deal with Spike TV, the better (and safer) they will be. This comes at exactly the same time as TNA have secured a multi year deal with Challenge TV, their UK broadcaster.
PWInsider also note that Spike TV & TNA deal is set until the Fall of 2014 but negotiations should start around 6 months before that (in a couple of months). The aim of TNA/Spike TV set last time they negotiated was "to try average 2 million viewers" per show. Clearly, this hasn't happened but the good news for TNA is that they are easily the most watched show on Spike TV itself.
You'll hear a lot more in the next couple of months in regards to WWE & TNA TV deals.
